6.2 Faction Scoring System

System Overview

  • Each season triggers a Faction War lasting 15 rounds.

  • All faction members’ activities generate Faction Points, which determine territorial control over global resources.

  • The winning faction will receive $AGX rewards and exclusive enhancement NFTs.

  • Reward collaboration, leadership, and intel operations — not just task completion

  • Foster a sense of faction culture and honor, boosting faction loyalty and community engagement

🧮 Unified Faction Score Calculation Formula

We use the following universal formula to calculate the total score of a faction:

Normalized Faction Score =
(Base Points / Highest Base Points among all Factions) × 40 +
  (Strategy Points / Highest Strategy Points) × 30 +
  (Resource Points / Highest Resource Points) × 15 +
(Governance Points / Highest Governance Points) × 15

📌 Note: The numbers 40 / 30 / 15 / 15 represent the weighting percentages.

📊 Example Calculation (3 Factions)

Faction
Base Points
Strategy Points
Resource Points
Governance Points

A

2000

500

300

100

B

1800

700

500

200

C

2200

400

100

150

Step 1: Determine the highest value in each category

  • Highest Base Points = 2200

  • Highest Strategy Points = 700

  • Highest Resource Points = 500

  • Highest Governance Points = 200

Step 2: Normalize & Calculate Faction Total Score (using Faction A as example)

Faction A Score =
  (2000 / 2200) × 40 +
  (500 / 700) × 30 +
  (300 / 500) × 15 +
  (100 / 200) × 15

≈ 36.36 + 21.43 + 9 + 7.5 = **74.29**

📈 Calculation Results:

Faction
Final Score

A

74.29

B

73.94

C

70.85

✅ Faction A wins, followed closely by Faction B.

📌 Key Advantages:

  • Normalization Ensures every module contributes fairly within a standardized range, preventing any single score type from dominating the outcome.

  • Weight Flexibility Allows strategic focus to be preserved (e.g., emphasizing governance vs. combat).

  • Adjustable Weighting You can freely adjust the weighting to 50/20/20/10 or adopt other strategic configurations.
