2.2 Recon
Recon is a non-rewarding action in terms of $AGX—but offers strategic value by yielding Intel NFTs, essential for crafting powerful Schematics used in combat.
Intel Drop Mechanics
Each agent performing Recon is guaranteed to receive 1 Intel NFT per turn.
There's a 25% chance to obtain a second Intel.
This chance increases to 50% if the agent is equipped with the Data Trade schematic.
Intel Types: There are 6 distinct Intel rarities:
3x Common
2x Rare
1x Epic
The rarity of dropped Intel is influenced by the agent’s total attributes—the higher the stats, the greater the likelihood of rarer Intel.
Intel NFTs can be claimed at the end of each round.
Intel Rarity Drop Formulas
▸ Without Espionage Skill
If the agent does not possess the Espionage skill:
CommonRate = (62.5% − 30% × ((Stats − 49) / 49)) ÷ 3
RareRate = (30% + 15% × ((Stats − 49) / 49)) ÷ 2
EpicRate = 7.5% + 15% × ((Stats − 49) / 49)
▸ With Espionage Skill
If the agent has the Espionage skill, drop rates are boosted:
CommonRate = [(62.5% − 30% × ((Stats − 49) / 49)) − (40% + total Versatile bonus %)] ÷ 3
RareRate = [(30% + 15% × ((Stats − 49) / 49)) + (35% + ⅔ × total Versatile bonus %)] ÷ 2
EpicRate = (7.5% + 15% × ((Stats − 49) / 49)) + (30% + ⅓ × total Versatile bonus %)
$AGX Redistribution from Recon Action
Agents performing Recon do not receive any $AGX rewards. Instead, the portion of emission that would have been allocated to them is redistributed as follows:
15% goes to agents executing Sabotage
35% goes to agents executing Infiltrate
25% is allocated to the Leaderboard Reward Pool
25% is burned
✅ Summary
Recon is the primary method for acquiring Intel NFTs, and is essential for:
Crafting tactical schematics
Supporting PvP action loops
Fueling long-term strategic play
While Recon offers no direct token yield, it plays a critical role in the game's broader economic ecosystem and strategic progression.
